L33t Halo League- Rules and Regs

Friends and fellow gamers, after the phenomenal success of Close Quarters I can only push for more awe inspiring gameplay.  Now is time for me to present the original idea that inspired the creation of L33t Str33t.  The idea that two bored college students brewed up in a dorm room.  The visionary idea of creating a friendly, cooperative, yet competitive community of gameplay.  After months of waiting, stewing, and brooding, we are ready.  The L33t Halo League!

RULES
Much similar to Close Quarters, the only rule is be courteous.  Sportsmanship is the goal here, and unifying the community wont happen with teams who disrespect one another.  However, there will be no admins to watch over the matches.  I am putting my unfaltering trust in you to make the right choices.

REQUIREMENTS
Aside from the basic Xbox, Halo: Reach, TV, ect.  Here is a list of what is required.

  • Xbox Live Gold Membership
  • Bugie.net account
  • A team of 4 with an optional substitute player.
All team members must have a Xbox Live account in order to be eligible to play.

PROCESS
There will be one game for every team a week.  It is up to team captains to communicate and decide on a day and time for this to take place.  Each game will consist of 2 actual games; the home teams selected gametype and map (that must be approved by me first), and the weekly gametype and map that I will post.  Home team is determined by whatever team comes first on the schedule.  Example: Home team vs Away Team.  Pretty easy.  Home team will be responsible for reporting the matches via email.  This will be done by going to your Bungie.net account, Game History, Custom Games and finding the appropriate Carnage Reports.  You then copy and paste the URL into the email, stating what colors the teams were.  A Carnage Report should look as follows:

Subject: Carnage Report Week (x)

Game 1
Winning Team:
Losing Team:
URL:

Game 2
Winning Team:
Losing Team:
URL:

I will continually update stats and progress of the teams so everyone can see how the other teams are doing.  At the end of the season there will be a bracket and playoffs, however, that is still in the brainstorming stage.

REGISTRATION
Teams must send in an email to leetstreetmedia@gmail.com with the following info:

                               3

After I receive your email I will place your team in a division.  Depending on how many teams we have sign up will determine the number of divisions we have, and how big our play offs bracket will be.

If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to ask.  E-mail or facebook me and I will get back to you in a reasonable amount of time.

Until next time,
Saint
