I would now like to give you a synopsis of how we came to be, and what we aim for- Myself and some friends were talking about what it would be like to play in MLG leagues and tournaments. We concluded that play on such a competitive level would be less than appealing to us, since we are used to how games are played by the masses online. However, we wanted the same league and tournament experiences that the MLG players get. After hours of discussion, and our streams of consciousness colliding, mingling, and fusing, we decided to form a platform for community league play. Which brings me to what we aim to do at L33t Str33t.
-Our main focus is to bring high quality news on games that our followers are interested in. With a team of diverse gamers, we hope to cover all types of games on all consoles.
-Our second point of interest in organizing leagues for popular team games. If you haven't played in a league, you need to. It is quite possibly the most fun a gamer can have.
-And finally, we want to up the stakes even further and invite our followers to play in tournaments. These tournaments will vary in set-up and style, but all will focus on one prize: Bragging Rights. Of course other prizes will be included, but every gamers true pursuit is to triumph over n00bs.
With that said, and our mission statement out of the way, I want to stir up some interest about our premiering tournament, Close Quarters. The Close Quarters tournament will feature the game Halo: Reach and will be held in the near future. Begin assembling your team! There will be awesome prizes for the victorious. And plenty of MDew.
Until Next time,
Saint
